Most popular apps in South Africa

South Africa follows the trend of most established countries for the most part when it comes to app downloads. You get your typical favourites like Netflix, YouTube, Facebook and so on. But, which online shops managed to get their mobile apps in the top 100 downloaded list?

Wish

Wish came up top at of the online shops at number 30. The shop has become very popular among South Africans since it’s launch, and it seems that the guys from Wish have hit the nail on the head with their massive discount approach.

Amazon

Amazon came in at number 60. The global giant was bound to make the top 100 list, and it seems that South Africans have no problem buying internationally from a reputable brand like Amazon.

Takealot

Takealot was bound to make the list. Coming in at number 90, the South African gladiator is proving to be a force to be reckoned with, even with their app.

Superbalist
