According to the B2B E-commerce report, 79% of all manufacturers indicated that they will spend more on e-commerce than previously. This ads up to a massive 10% increase from the previous period.

Although EDI systems largely account for transactions for manufacturers, all indications show that EDI’s share for electronic transactions will decline as B2B e-commerce becomes more popular due to the intuitiveness and scale-ability that e-commerce provides to companies.
